Guided Tour of the Destilería Francesa Coquimbo

In the historic heart of Guayacán stands the Destilería Francesa Coquimbo, built on the remains of the Urmeneta Foundry of 1856, where the first Chilean copper destined for industrial export was processed. This site, born of the vision of the French engineer Charles Lambert and of British technical mastery, preserves the memory of an era when Chile joined the Industrial Revolution.

Today, that same spirit of innovation lives on in our distilling rooms. The copper Charentais stills, brought from France, hold a symbolic dialogue with the site's metallurgical past: just as the foundry sought to extract the purity of the ore, distillation seeks to reveal the essence of the pisco grape.

During the tour, visitors witness a new alchemy, where tradition, science and heritage intertwine to give life to Kentaurus pisco. A unique experience that connects the region's industrial history with the living art of craft distillation.
